Worcester Pride Festival

Come celebrate the LGBTQI+ Community with us on September 7th from 12-5 on the Worcester Common Oval!
Our FREE family friendly event will include craft vendors, live music and entertainment, food trucks and a kid friendly play area.

Worcester Pride Parade

Join Worcester Pride on the LGBTQI+ community, and their allies on September 7th to celebrate pride by marching down Main Street to the Common to open the Pride Festival. The parade starts at Institute Park and ends on the Worcester Common.

2019 Grand Marshals are the Worcester Historical Museum and Stephen Trotto.

This is a family friendly free event.

$10 per artist, with all proceeds going to support Worcester Pride. All supplies and instruction included. We will have some lite rainbow bits and waters. Guest may BYOFood and BYOB.

Drag Make-up 101

Want to do drag but don’t know where to get started? Doing drag but want to up your game? Join us on June 14th from 2-5pm at the Worcester Pop Up to learn how to create slick, simple, and sickening stage spots that are guaranteed to stick in this drag basics workshop. We’ll cover lipsync, storytelling, choreography tips, prop use, how to use energy, climax and reveals to your advantage, and what exactly gives drag performances the X factor.

This workshop is perfect for all dragsters – kings, queens, and inbetweens.
If you are under 16 and would like to attend, please bring a signed YP Drag Make-up Permission Slip

‘The Future is Queer’ Prom

Come sashay the night away at Worcester Youth Pride’s third annual prom on May 11th from 6-10pm!
Ages *14-20 are welcome.

There will be food, drag performers, DJ, vendors and resource tables, and so much more!
$5 to get in, dress as you want!
First come/First serve light hair and make up will be done by Toni & Guy Salon from 4:30-6:30pm

Come and show your support by marching with Worcester Pride in the 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Parade on (rescheduled from 3/10/19) March 24, 2019. The parade starts at 12, but we typically line up around 11am in front of Applebee’s on Park Ave and the parade ends at Elm Park.

Queer People of Color Mixer

The “Queer People of Color Mixer” is Worcester Pride’s first official PoC (People of Color) centered event! We’ll have music, food, beverages! The theme of the music will be “THROWBACK JAMS” so there will be a lot of 90’s and early 00’s hits!

Why host a PoC event? We want to increase the involvement of PoC in our LGBT events! So whether you’re Native American, Black/African-American, African, Hispanic/Latin, Asian (the list goes on) – Please know that you ARE part of our LGBT family. You are always welcome with us.

A Reception with Worcester Pride at WHM

Come learn about Worcester’s queer history with this kickoff to Worcester Pride Week on September 5th at the Worcester Historical Museum and take part in a campaign working to inspire young people and others to live their truth.

Youth Pride Dance

Come join Worcester Youth Pride after the annual parade and festival for their official after party! This year, the theme is ‘Glitter and Be Gay!’
There will be a glitter station by Cosmic Unicornz, amazing music, drag performances by Worcester’s
premier drag queens and so much more!
The event is for ages 14-20 and admission is $5. You can also do one of the following for free admission:
– Get tested for HIV at Aids Project Worcester the day of the festival; and/or
Volunteer for at least an hour at the festival.
